Six Himzoo Herm Imposters Arrested Inside of Hermbul Palace
It all began when one of the Berm’s guards was doing their usual patrol by the Gym Hall and Pool when he saw something that was impossible: there was a Himzoo Herm in the Gym working out and one in the Pool swimming. Indeed, even then, among the Himzoo Herm and Berm’s personal staff, it had been common knowledge that the Himzoo Herm does not regularly do either of these things because of an apparent disregard for his own fitness and a disliking of water.
More intriguingly, when both alleged Himzoo Herms, having proper identification and looking just like the real Himzoo Herm, were brought before the Berm, he said that neither was the true Himzoo Herm and that he must be lurking somewhere in the Palace.
Although Himzoo Herm impersonators are common throughout Hermistan and it is not unusual for them to enter the Palace, something more strange was immediately obvious: the Himzoo Herm had said that he would be in the gym. But, as we know, an impersonator was there instead.
Security concerns were raised and the Palace was shut off from the outside world; even the HermPost’s most skilled Reporters were unable to make an entry. When another night passed and the Himzoo Herm was still nowhere to be found, the Berm began to mobilize police forces across Hermistan in order to attempt to rescue or detain the true Himzoo Herm from his hiding place.
It was in the Press Hall just outside the briefing room when the Himzoo Herm made a surprise appearance, sneaking around the Palace and ending up right in front of the Berm who was just about to give a briefing about his absence. In the briefing, the Berm released the story to the public and said that he would keep a closer eye on Himzoo Herm’s movements in the future.
According to Himzoo Herm, “I was sneaking out to surprise the local Herms! It was all good fun until I heard a rumor that one of my impersonators had been caught. When the Berm started mobilizing the police, I panicked and practically sprinted back to the Palace where the Berm and the Legislature forced me to reveal the identities of my other four imposters. I’m so sad … If only there were somebody reading this who could help me (wink, wink).”
